It’s come to my attention that a site on Breezy Hill and a cabin in the Main Camp are available for this festival. If anyone is interested in either of these please contact our office for more details, as there are special circumstances associated with each. FYI Breezy Hill is the row that extends from the back of the office behind the Vendor Row and the large audience tent. The sites are large pull through 50A w/e/s spots. Cabin sleeps 6 and is close to bath house in the main camp.

Festival is just around the Corner

Well, it is May 1st, which means the May Festival is just around the corner! We still have a few advance-reservable sites available. Call the office for more details (717) 642-8749. If you can’t secure a reservation, not to worry because we have lots of first-come, first-serve camping available, and all of our rough camping and tent camping is always handled on a first-come basis. And don’t forget that advance sales will soon be ending so take advantage of the price breaks by purchasing your tickets early! See you soon.

Pete Wernick’s Jam Camp May 13-16th

Once again, Dr. Banjo himself, Pete Wernick will bring his acclaimed Jam Camp to Gettysburg for three days of instruction, camraderie,and fun, Mon-Thurs preceding the festival. Pete’s Jam Camp at the Gettysburg Festival is typically a sell out so secure your place today! And don’t forget that Pete will also be performing with his pioneering band, Hot Rize, on Saturday, so after the camp stick around for the show.

Friday Schedule Change

A wonderful opportunity to play the Opry has presented itself to Mountain Heart. As a result, and with the cooperation of IIIrd Tyme Out, we have adjusted our Friday schedule to afford Mountain Heart the time necessary to travel back to Nashville after their Friday show. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our festival attendees but we hope all will understand and share our belief that we should do whatever we can to help one another in their endeavors. Bridge Construct on 116 – Minor Delays

Please be advised that PennDOT is currently performing repairs to the bridge on Route 116 over Marsh Creek 2.5 miles east of the festival. The road is reduced to a single lane with traffic signals resulting in minor delays (5 mins). Allow yourself a few extra minutes to arrive at the festival so you don’t miss the opening song of your favorite act!
