August Bluegrass Festival
Our Workshop Stage was the scene of the "Dobro Summit", the first ever on stage combined performance by Josh Graves, Mike Auldridge, and Jerry Douglas.
And the tradition continues on the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival stages...bringing out the best of the best bluegrass artists in the world. Welcome to our 55th festival and 28th year! Our Emcees for this festival are Lee Michael Demsey of Washington's WAMU-FM and Bluegrass Country.Org.; and Hank Janney, host of two Sunday bluegrass shows on Country 107.7, WGTY-FM, York and Gettysburg, PA; and Wayne Bledsoe who presents bluegrass music from Public Radio KUMR-FM, University of Missouri, Rolla. Wayne is the publisher of the very popular "Bluegrass Now" magazine.
